Retreat from the demands of your daily routines to this weekend devoted to the most deeply relaxing yoga practices that will remind you how nourishing and necessary deep rest can be.

Quiet your mind, soothe your nervous system, release deeply held tension, and unlock your body’s potential for healing with fascial release practices, all levels active hatha yoga practice, lots of restorative yoga, and iRest® guided meditation, plus optional massages, delicious food, and good company.

This retreat is suitable for students of all levels and abilities. No yoga or meditation experience is necessary.

Location & Accommodations

Blue Mountain Retreat Center is a homelike eco-friendly retreat center is situated on 27 acres of property in a small rural community in the hills near Harper’s Ferry. This welcoming escape from the hustle of everyday life in the city feels worlds away even though it is located just 65 miles outside of DC.

Room at BMRCNine bedrooms provide available accommodation options for a private room, shared room for 2, or shared room for 3 or 4.

All rooms have access to the center’s three shared hall bathrooms.

The cozy rooms have twin-size European-style platform beds and high quality mattresses for a simple but very comfortable stay.

Delicious organic vegan home-cooked meals are prepared by retreat center owner Beth Ehrhardt. Cheese, yogurt, eggs, and milk are available and all meals include gluten-free choices.

Retreat Schedule

FRIDAY

4 pm – 6 pm arrival and check in
6 pm dinner
7:30 – 9 pm fascial release with Tricia Kull, restorative yoga with Tara Lemerise, and iRest® with Susan Timmons Marks

SATURDAY

note: breakfast is self-serve; available at any time
7:45– 8:45 am hatha yoga (all levels practice to include sun salutation variations, standing poses, hip openers and back bends) with Tara
9:30 – 12 pm fascial release with Tricia, restorative yoga stations with Tara, and iRest® with Susan
12 pm lunch and free time
4 – 6 pm fascial release with Tricia, restorative yoga stations with Tara, and iRest® with Susan
6 pm dinner and free time

SUNDAY

note: breakfast is self-serve; available at any time
7:45 – 8:45 am hatha yoga (all levels practice to include sun salutation variations, standing poses, hip openers and back bends) with Tara
9:30 – 12 pm gentle yoga and restorative yoga station with Tara, and iRest® with Susan
12 pm lunch and departure

Massage appointments are available throughout the weekend.

Cost

Cost includes Friday and Saturday night stay, 6 meals, and all yoga sessions.

Shared room for 3 or 4 with shared hall bathroom – $430 per person  *2 rooms remaining*

Shared room for 2 with shared hall bathroom – $480 per person   *SOLD OUT*

Private Room – $530 per person  *SOLD OUT*

There will be a space to indicate the name of your preferred roommate(s) during the registration process. If you do not select a roommate for shared room reservations, one will be assigned to you.

Massage – $75 per hour
