Find your bliss this autumn on your yoga mat among the fall foliage in this restorative weekend retreat. The schedule includes a balance of energizing active asana with slow gentle yoga sessions, restorative yoga practice, iRest® guided meditation taught by Susan Timmons Marks, optional massage, delicious nourishing meals, and free time for being in nature, reading, knitting, drawing, chatting with friends, or for doing whatever leads you to your bliss.

This retreat is suitable for students of all levels and abilities. No yoga or meditation experience is necessary.

Location & Accommodations

Blue Mountain Retreat Center is a homelike eco-friendly retreat center is situated on 27 acres of property in a small rural community in the hills near Harper’s Ferry. This welcoming escape from the hustle of everyday life in the city feels worlds away even though it is located just 65 miles outside of DC.

Nine bedrooms provide available accommodations options for a private room, shared room for 2, or shared room for 3 or 4. All rooms have access to the center’s three shared hall bathrooms. The cozy rooms have twin-size European-style platform beds and high quality mattresses for a simple but very comfortable stay.

Delicious organic vegan home-cooked meals are prepared by retreat center owner Beth Ehrhardt. Cheese, yogurt, and milk are available and most meal options are gluten-free.

Friday
3 pm – 6 pm arrival and check in
6 pm dinner
7:30 – 9 pm gentle yoga practice, restorative yoga stations, and iRest®

Saturday
note: breakfast is self-serve; available at any time
9:30 – 11:30 am active yoga practice, restorative yoga, iRest®
12 pm lunch and free time
4-6 pm gentle yoga practice, restorative yoga stations, and iRest®
6:30 pm dinner

Sunday
note: breakfast is self-serve; available at any time
9:30-11:30 am gentle yoga, restorative yoga stations, and iRest®
12 pm lunch and departure

Massage appointments are available throughout the weekend.

Cost

Shared room for 3 or 4 with shared hall bathroom – $425 per person
Shared room for 2 with shared hall bathroom – $525 per person   2 rooms remaining!
Private Room – $575 per person  SOLD OUT

Cost includes Friday and Saturday night stay, 6 meals, and 4 yoga sessions.

There will be a space to indicate the name of your preferred roommate(s) during the registration process. If you do not select a roommate for shared room reservations, one will be assigned to you.

Massage – $75 per hour
