Hike in the tropical rainforest.

Breath-taking waterfalls and swimming holes are on the property. If you want to travel a bit father, join a day-long guided hike in Corcovado National Park. At the edge of where the beach meets the rainforest, you’ll be in one of the few remaining lowland tropical rainforests in the world. Often described as the most pristine conservation areas on the earth, you’ll see anteaters, toucans, sloths, monkeys, crabs, frogs, butterflies and much, much more!

Practice yoga.

Move, meditate, and breath in twice daily yoga practices. The Lodge’s yoga platform is above the forest canopy, so it seems as if you are practicing on the tops of the trees. The yoga classes on this retreat are suitable for all levels of practitioners. You can expect the skilled, precise, and caring Hatha Yoga instruction you know and love from Tara. Even better? Everything you need is here; mats and props are provided.

Savor delicious cuisine.

Enjoy three scrumptious per day, prepared with produce and herbs grown onsite in the organic garden. Expect inventive local cuisine and exotic native dishes, homemade breads, beautiful fresh salads, fresh-picked fruits and veggies including mango, papaya, banana, pineapples, oranges, lemons, avocados, cashews and more. All food allergies, sensitivities, and dietary preferences are honored and accommodated with variety and tons of flavor.

Travel way off the beaten path for yoga and adventure with Tara Lemerise in the enchanting and secluded Luna Lodge, a very special eco-lodge built on the side of a mountain in the rainforest of Osa Peninsula.

Bask in the beauty of nature.

Osa Peninsula is the most bio-diverse place on the planet. Wake each morning to the sounds of birds, monkeys, and crashing waves. During the day, hike among the old growth trees in the rainforest. And at night, you stargaze in a light pollution-free sky.
